Commission "magnolia flowers"

This client wanted a few extra Magnolia flowers, and wanted that Southern New Orleans vibe. She was thrilled with the painting. I often get a little nervous before I deliver the final product, but I share progress shots to the client during the process to make sure that I'm on the right track. This painting is 24 X 30 inches.

Commission "Texas Bluebells"

This client wanted a painting for her husband's birthday. They live in Texas and love the iconic Texas bluebells that cover the fields. I spent a lot time looking at paintings with bluebells in them and photographs of Texas fields. The client also wanted a bright orange Texas sunset with clouds. I worked from a few pictures that we found together. This painting is 11 X 14 inches.

Why commission a painting

Commissioning a painting is great for specific subject matter.  It can solve your decorating problems, or bring meaning to your home.

What You Get

There’s nothing quite like walking by a painting in your home every day, and reflecting on what it means to you.

how to commission a painting

Contact me with the size, medium, and subject matter that you are interested in.  We’ll begin the process together and pick a deadline.  I usually need 1-3 months to complete a project, including all contact.  For large projects, I can visit your home and loan out paintings/canvas to help determine the scale you want.

Deposits and payments

I require a 50% deposit before starting the project. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with the final product, you can use the deposit towards any paintings in my shop.

"Washtington D.C. Temple"

"Flaming Gorge cabin"

This client wanted a painting for her parent's cabin in Flaming Gorge, Utah. This painting is 11 X 14 inches. Watercolor.
